Article suggestion in Intercom
Here is a link that describes what we would need: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/1006350-let-users-help-themselves-with-smart-suggestions
Format Painter in the editor
get the same formatting applied to other text using the Format Painter
Ability to run a check for broken links
With so many ways that a link could break, it would be great to have a way to run a report for broken links.
Hypertext links within the same document
Link to a point later in the same document? For example, We’d like to be able to jump from the top of the page to the various sections farther down the page.
Single article belong to multiple categories
Allow for the same article to appear in multiple sub categories and link to the same article Requested by Decisions
Ability to link draft articles
When updating articles, it doesn't allow us to link to draft articles. Especially when we are creating release notes, or documentation that is to go out in the next release, we can't link articles that cannot be published till a the feature is live. So long as the article is in a draft state, it should allow us to link to other drafts as well. That way a lot of the linking work is not left pending till the nth moment.
additional granularity in scope
Current scope restriction for team members and security groups is "all or nothing". Would like additional granularity to enable CRUD (or at lease draft writer / editor) permissions on a per category basis. Example: Security group "Product Manager" has editor permissions in their designated category, but only Draft Writer in others. Security group "Support" has draft writer access in all categories. Security group "Technical Writers" has editor access in all categories.
Exact Search Landing
When i search and select an article based on the results and keyword highlighted on the search, it should take me directly to the section of the article where the keyword is used rather than taking you just to the top of the article. This saves the user time looking for the keyword in the article.
